While every client is unique and each engagement is different, all our programs and services are grounded in a core set of philosophical principles that are the foundation upon which we build our practice.

- Every engagement begins with an in-depth discovery process with you so we understand clearly how we can best help you. Only by understanding where you are and where you want to be can we design a program specifically customized to your unique circumstances.
- Content and process go hand in hand in our work. When we facilitate your planning sessions, your interactions are designed to develop your communication and collaboration processes, so you return to work not only with a plan, but with a stronger team as well. When we teach, we develop learning exercises based on your real life situations, so you return to work having made tangible progress on current projects or challenges.
- To encourage transformation, the process of bringing people together must be open, relaxed and supportive. We believe people are generally more receptive to change when the process occurs in an environment of fun and self-discovery. Therefore, we engage participants in a wide range of creative activities designed to encourage participation and contribute to the learning process.
- Changes in behavior and attitude take time and do not occur in the absence of powerful motivations to change. The reality is that we cannot change anyone else. We can only invite you into a process and create a safe environment in which to do the work you need to do.
- Often the best “teachable” moments in changing behaviors and culture happen in real time. Throughout our work together, we invite your calls for help and advice whenever you need us.
